You can set double-tap to Play but it’ll default to Apple Music unless you control say Spotify on your iPhone
I just got mine at Abenson in Ascott BGC. They still have 2 units left and a 10% discount until the end of month!
Nice so it's P8,000 na lang. Argh made me think twice uli on getting Airpods or Icon X 2018. I have not yet transfered any music in my phone nor my watch. So getting an Icon X and load it with music from my tablet is my option when going to jog without a phone.
Had an annoying experience today when I was running on track. When I passed by my bag where my phone was, the AirPods connected to it which screwed up the audio guided run on the Nike app on my Watch.
I'm using the AirPods with my MacBook Air a lot. It's a bit annoying to have to disconnect and manually connect on the iPhone again to use it. I thought it was seamless.
You don’t need to explicitly ‘disconnect’. just connect from your iPhone/Mac to your Airpod it’ll just switch. I’m fine with this step. How can my airpod know which source it needs to take audio from? What cue? I don’t want my iPhone to take over when I play music on it while I use my airPod to listen from my MacBook. The false positives are more annoying than the ideal scenario we’d like to have IMO.
I dont disconnect them . I just connect them to the device I need them . I find no issue with this set-up. Perhaps 2 you can command Siri to switch.
Got my Airpods last Thursday. Pairing it with my X is very fluid. I even changed the double tap features on both sides to personalize it. However, when I used it last Friday, when I double tapped both pods, it activated Siri instead of playing next track. It turned back to its default setting. Haha.
The setting sticks to the device where you configured it to. If for example you set it on the iPhone it will only behave that way on the iPhone. If you pair it on the Mac you need to tweak it for that Mac. Maybe that’s what confused you? If it does reset maybe you’d need to have your Airpod checked and replaced.
I just set it on my X. Didn't pair it with my AW3. I think I have to open the case first for my X to recognize the Pods. I usually open the case and put the Airpods in my ears. Will check this one later.
Just bought an airpod last Tuesday. it's now my workout earphones, replacing my jaybird x2. I'm more than satisfied with it, very convenient to connect and very comfortable to wear. I just wish there was a gesture for volume control on the airpod itself.
Been using these ear foams even on the regular Earpods that come with iPhones to improve bass reproduction and warmth in the mids. Saw a way to "hack it" for Airpods by putting holes in the foam where the sensors are placed. I used a hot needle to "burn" the holes in the foam. Sounds much better now.
