    It sounded to me like it is more of a NAPP press release (to generate more interest for the upcoming event) rather than Photoshop itself. In any case, it is indeed of interest to the creative professionals in general, and for Photoshop users in particular.

    From what i read in the article, seems to me that they're just going to introduce some new features and show it to the press. But yeah, at least there's something to keep people excited before the actual launch itself
