I installed the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop CS2 and Illustrator CS2 since they are the only ones I use), but when I click on the dock icon for AI, it just jumps up and down and the app never launches unlike Photoshop. No app showing, no black arrow marker showing, nothing.

How can I make it to run? I really need to get my designing started again (this time on a Mac, I used to design using a PC).

Note that they come from a single Suite, so I'm wondering as to why the Photoshop launches and I can use it, but the AI doesn't. Please help me.

You can manually locate the App (in your case, Adobe Illustrator) in the Applications folder and drag it straight in your dock. The one in your dock could be a broken alias so just create a new one.
