hi guys... just have a few questions about some of our apps. i'm using osx 10.2.8 and there are some issues bugging me... mail and address book when i reply to an email or send a new email to an address, mail automatically sends that email address to the address book. my question is: under what name? i have several email addresses added to address book but i didn't add a first name, last name or other information. how can i retrieve these email addresses? isync and ical when performing an isync with your phone, you instruct isync the number of weeks of appointments you get from ical to transfer to the phone. the drop down list has only a maximum of 8 weeks. how can i make isync to get more than 8 weeks of appointment from my ical? i need at least 6 months of appointment transferred from ical to my phone. can anyone help? thanks in advance!!! regards, david
I'm using 10.3.6, so I'm not sure if these replies are applicable to you. It doesn't send it automatically. Those addresses are added to the autofill list, so the next time you type in the first few letters of those addresses, Mail completes them for you. If you want to add them to Address Book, click on the drop down arrow to the right of the sender's name and select Add to Address Book, or use Cmd+Y (Message > Add Sender to Address Book). That name will be added to the 'All' category and you can use Address Book's search function to find that name. Doesn't look like you can go beyond the 8 weeks. I searched VersionTracker and didn't find a thing to go around this limitation.
How do i set time/date of my mail? how come the time stamp upon sending doesn't correspond with the time recieved? My Date/Time (system preferences) are okay naman..
