Looks like a generic Chinese made action camera... I'm sure it uses the same iSmart DV app...

IMO, should be ok... But don't expect too much, video will be there, photo will be useless. Audio will be ok.

You'll see the difference when watching your video on a FHD TV

The Yi Lite and Yi Discovery action cams are the most popular these days.

Really cool product from DJI. GoPro really needs to innovate fast otherwise they’ll be a gonnet..

You forgot about smartphones. Huawei’s just surpassed Apple as second largest smartphone maker. It will probably surpass Samsung soon.

DJI Osmo Pocket still can’t beat Gopro’s wide angle lens. Different market I guess

DJI Osmo Pocket looks great... Plus I love the brand (I received a DJI device for my birthday for 2 straight years now)

    However.

I would prefer my action camera to have minimal moving parts...

If GoPro can make the 7 without the LCD, it would be perfect.

So I guess the Osmo Pocket will be a great device for vloggers, definitely an upgrade for those making videos using their phones.

Since this is the action camera thread, I'd go for the GoPro—more robust, less likely to break, wider shot, and has "better action sound" (fatter bottom).

For everything else though, I'd prefer the Pocket—my choice for capturing what looks to be an awesome year ahead. But for videos with music and/or dialog, I'd add a mic/digital audio recorder.

Can't wait to empty my Pocket. ;)
