Accidentally deleted TextEdit

    Hello there!

    I accidentally deleted TextEdit, how can i restore it? I looked at apple.com and versiontracker but theres none :(

    find and download TexEdit Plus (note that it's tex, not text)--it's a much better alternative. shareware, but no nags if you decide not to pay. (have used it for many years, and i did pay to help the author along.)

    It should work. If the icon is missing when tekgik gets it, zip it first before sending.

    Applications are actually folders with many files in them (Ctrl click an app and select Show Package Contents to see what's inside). Therefore, zipping the application first is necessary, to ensure that all package contents are intact when sending the application.

    The other way to restore TextEdit is to reinstall the OS, since it's part of Mac OS X. Of course just asking someone to send the app to you is far far simpler than an OS reinstall.

    penmanila, how is tex-edit plus better? checked out the site but there is no comparison or feature list. tia.
