accidentally deleted Photo Booth

    i accidentally deleted Photo Booth! what do i do to get it back? should i install the disks or something???

    Did you delete the application from the Application folder? Or did you just lose it from the dock?

    its gone! help me please. not anymore in applications. how do i get it back? (its still in the dock... but of course whont open)

    If you have another Mac around, you can always copy the application. Otherwise, perform an Archive and Install using your installer DVD. That will get your Photo Booth back, but you'll need to update your OS to current versions after. Don't worry, Archive and Install is harmless. I do it all the time when face with problems I can't fix.

    I think you could use pacifist app to search for the photobooth installer in the OSX disc.

    This way you could avoid doing a complete archive & install of OSX

    yup, get pacifist which lets you install (re-install) individual files & folders from your Mac OS X discs. Just look for the correponding.pkg file for photobooth (on your OS X installer discs). in case you still have problems then it's time to do A&I (pacifist should work though).

    ooo.... dont have any other macbooks around. so, i guess ill do your suggestion. but how do i do archive and install?
