    Found this amazing hack/mod/app MiddleClick

It enables triple tapping the trackpad to open a link in a new tab. Been wanting this feature for awhile now.

    Direct Download Link

download from link, then open zip file. drag the app in your applications folder open it. when it opens, the app will appear on your menu bar. when that happens its already active and ready to use. there is no need to set it up.

Thanks doblezeta! I've also been looking for this and was the reason I continued using a mouse. The linked file crashes for me on Leopard 10.5.8 but I got the previous one which works okay.

You might need to restart the app after sleep though.

Did you drag and drop the app to your Applications folder already?

Don't forget to add the app to you Login items so that it will automatically load everytime you reboot. That's the only "installation" part really, dragging the app to your Applications, launching it, then adding it to your login items for subsequent reboots. :)

Go to the Exposé and Spaces preference pane and make sure Mouse Button 3 isn't assigned to anything. This info might also help other people who can't get MiddleClick running.

Took me a while to figure it out, but finally got it.
