First time I got interested in F1, it was the MSC/HAK era already. I think it was still Star Sports in cable at that time. This film really struck me. Got teary eyed the last 20 minutes of the film. The interviews of the family were really genuine and sincere.
So I finally got my F1 TV Pro subscription working. Although CignalTV announced that they will be launching a new channel to fill in the void left by Fox Sports, this one is for the old footages that I want to watch for the longest time, especially the Senna/Prost era which I didn't had the chance to get into. VPN to a U.S. server in order to properly create a US-region F1.com account via web browser. While still connected to VPN, login to F1 TV app using the newly created account and subscribe via in-app purchase using a U.S. iTunes account and voila! No need to use VPN when streaming/watching any content. It's gonna be a busy few weekends for me
I am using my personal VPN server. But also tested and working on my VPN Unlimited account. I only tried for 1 month for now @$9.99 to see if it'll work. Next season I'll be subscribing for 1 year para mas sulit! But for reference, screenshot of the subscription on my iPhone:
Yes! This is what I was talking about it a few posts ago. I was thinking of subscribing to the Annual plan of $79.99 (even if there is no pro-rated deal). Looks like I should just subscribe to the monthly $9.99 deal since there are just 3 months left (Oct, Nov and Dec) in the 2021 season.
^I guess I'll be trying this route for this weekend's Grand Prix! Haha gastos nanaman. VPN + F1 TV subscription pa!
I thought Fox will be pulled out October pa? We have one last weekend with FOX F1 before having to move on! haha
Hahah excited eh, ba't ba?! Hahah I want to make sure by the time the Turkish GP comes along, I'll be ready.
So I'm deciding between two options: (a) F1 TV Pro at $79.99 per year, which I can access via a mobile device and watch from anywhere. I am guessing that this also comes with the timing app with extras like live sector times, etc. I already subscribe to a VPN. (b) Switch from Skycable to Cignal, at around $124 per year, This is based on their promo for switchers, free first three months and minimum install fee of 1k. Plan 520/month will get me NBA premium (though not all teams, like with the app) plus the new sports channel 272 which includes F1 but not tennis. I can only watch from one location. I can add 99 per month for the HBO app. (a) F1 TV Pro plus NBA app = $180 per year plus cost of HBO Go app (b) Cignal = $150 yer year I recognize that it's not a clear comparison as (a) is mobile and (b) is wired to one location.
It will depend on your current plan as per their tweet: Postpaid 520 and up and Prepaid 500 and up --- So far the archives, documentaries and (full) Jolyon Palmer analysis videos were keeping me up all night. One thing I noticed is that they pulled out the full race replays of the current season after a week. They replaced it with a 30-minute version called "Race in 30". I still don't know when it will appear again. Then I tried to sideload the app on my Android TV then this happened: Not usable at all, so my best option is to cast to my TV (which is reliable for me) or plug a desktop directly to my TV and stream from there. Then I tried this GitHub project called Race Control and damn.. I can't believe I am missing out on this for the longest time. Multiple streams on a single screen! Will test it this race weekend, hopefully a good experience and force me to retain my subscription lol!
With Max starting at the back of the grid, I feel Mercedes will get another 1-2. They’ve literally been unbeatable on this track.
Argh! That rain really f*****d up NOR. Meanwhile, it is HAM's 100th win and damaged limitation for VER.
Great run by Lando, but not a good finish. He'll have more opportunities in the future, it looks bright for him.G Great save by Lewis to take his 100th win! And what an outstanding drive for Max to come from the back of the grid to finish 2nd! Unbelievable!
We cannot leave the Russian GP without commenting on how clever an operator this Fernando Alonso is. Karun had already alerted us that Fernando was practicing that runoff in Turn 2. Sure enough, that's the route he took at the start and avoided the traffic. Muy inteligente
