just checked the website and it's now 75k
I believe you should go to the Education Store (of Apple's website) to get the P68,990 price.
Hi! I just ordered mine as well today, do we share the same situation? Mine is on hold as reflected in my "track shipment". This drives me nuts.
No, it does not require you to provide an ID.
Yes we are. I’m actually quite prepared for the delays. Wish us luck
What are the specs of macbook if I will use this for education and work?
Additional Softwares that I need (Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and Visio (if it is possible)
Do I need Parallel 15?
Cheapest model. You'll only need Parallel 15 if you plan to use Windows.
You can even use a MBP from 2010 for what your use case.
I wouldn't be surprised if a MBA from 2008 cannot do what you're doing.
No student ID needed?
Is it just me or is something off with this "MacBook"?
how old is that unit ?
Its probably a fake. Just surprised Shopping apps like Lazada/ Shopee lets blatant fakes like these get posted in their sites, especially since the seller is tagging it as a legit MacBook. Got curious coz I saw some ads advertising "new MacBooks" for around 20K
In general, the listing is fake but fake Macbooks aren't sold outside China, I think.
In all probability the photo was stolen from a different seller. That's why I refuse to provide photos with the complete serial # but instead send the serial itself for verification. I also offer the seller the right to refuse purchase if the serial on the item they are buying in person does not match what I texted.
Whenever I hear any Apple product being sold at below even the cheapest US price I tag it as a bait & switch scam or a fenced item probably sourced from Black Lives Matter riots/looting. The sellers know that there are a lot of Filipinos who aspire to own an Apple product because the celeb or insta-famous person they follow uses one. It means the barrier to entry is 20K then 20K it is.
Thankfully Apple has redesigned Macbooks to remove the glowing logo at the back of the LCD thus differentiating 2nd hand Macbooks to those being sold since 2016.
I miss Apple allowing for storage and memory upgrades. If they allowed that with standard PC parts I'd probably sport a 16" Core i7 with 64GB RAM & two 2TB NVMe SSDs. Swap out the two 2TB NVMe SSDs with two 4TB NVMe SSDs when prices drops further.
Why you should buy Intel Macs today rather than wait for the Macs with Apple Silicon next year.
My MBP 2020 (4TB ports) base model finally arrived. Took roughly 14 days before it got delivered. Switching from Dell 3476. Can't get any happier to the speed and being snappy of this machine. Btw, I ordered mine in official Apple PH website.
Very nice. I just ordered mine yesterday. I keep checking the tracker. LOL
same lol. longest 2 weeks of my entire life hahaha
I need some distraction~
How many days did it take for Philippines customs to process the item?
5 days in total
There are available units at powermac physical stores already. Bought mine yesterday sa powermaccenter sm aura
Same price as in Apple Store?
