My only hope for McLaren this season is to beat out the Tracing Points. Hahah.

But yeah beating Ferrari would be great for the team. Curious to see what upgrades the Scuderia bring forward this weekend.

Only aero upgrades for the red team in Hungary. Mattia said on the SkySports F1 interview that the engine upgrades will take longer. So I do not expect them to be anywhere in the top 5 in quali.

EDIT: It seems that they are already bringing in the upgrades this weekend.

My expectations are high for McLaren to make a renaissance comeback. The odds are Ferrari will be waylaid by them as long as their cars hold. Norris might just pull off a coup among top-ranked drivers this season and that’ll be fun to watch. Some are already saying he’s like a young Hakkinen on the wheel. Better Mika than Juan Pablo though.

And in other news, Fernando Alonso is set to comeback to F1. Looks like he’s partnering up with Ocon in Renault.

Vettel still doesn’t have a drive for next year with most of the teams confirming their lineups.

So the rumors are true after all. I'm happy he's back!

I hope VET finds a seat for next year.

Well, there’s Indy Car if he wants it. Just ask Juan Pablo Montoya. Or NASCAR, the best sports car racing this side of the Confederacy.

Ugh and its hamilton again on pole. Lec outside of the top10.
Makes you wonder where Ferraris budget is going. They almost have the same budget as Mercedes and merc manages to improve every year. But ferrari? No.. But they’re evolving, just backwards.

Maybe, they should have just done what Tracing Point did. Might have yielded them a more competitive package.

Ferrari's season looks like another year to forget. Their Insta feed, in the light of their performance, is pathetic.

I hope Sainz leadership style can cut through all their internal politics and turn them around.

I'm a Ferrari fan but this really might be true IMO:

If you've had Alonso, Raikkonen and Vettel in your car for ten years and haven't succeeded maybe the problem is you.

    Ouch. Brutal truth.

I was hoping for biblical rain again for today’s race. Corny, forecast is sunny.

    Let’s go, McLaren (and Williams)!

Wow, the two Ferraris are really something else this year.

Collision on the first lap. VET broken rear wing, retired. For LEC, it looks like his left floor is broken, I will not be surprised if he retires in the middle of the race.

EDIT: LEC just retired. Double DNF for the reds.

Clearly Lec is at fault. But if you look closely, it’s Binotto’s fault. Hahhahahaha just kidding.

Merc 1-2. Solid performance, I just hope there will be rain in Hungary next week hopefully to mix up the grid.

Renault has launched a formal protest against Racing Point, claiming the Pink Mercedes design wasn’t their own (duh).

The FIA has confirmed the protest admissible. They seized and impounded the brake ducts of the RP20 and have asked Mercedes for the brake ducts from last year’s car.

    Hearing to follow.

Cyril is really something, no? Whats next? He’ll protest Ferrari for copying Alfa Romeo?? Haha Maybe they’ll protest how Mclaren seems to acquire videogame-like speed boost at the last lap of every race hahahha

But it's a legit protest, isn't it? The fact that the FIA deemed it admissible. Protesting Ferrari for copying Alfa Romeo doesn't sound like a legit protest to me.

^^yessss.. Kidding aside, I too, think its a legitimate protest. Renault woldn’t have brought it up if they dont have an evidence. Otherwise they would look like they’re just bitter because they lost to those pink mercedes.
