I am torn between space grey and the new gold color. What do you guys think about the gold color?

Personally I prefer the Gold. The Space Gray looks bland for me.

Is there a catch here? The version I want at 256gb SSD and 8gb ram is only $1299. No sales tax and free shipping. I'm not too sure, is it too good to be true?

$1299 is just about Php 68,443 compared to Php 86,990 at Apple PH store. That's Php 18,547 savings.

Pwede naman to shipping cart to Philippines right? That won't cost too much.

I bought my 2016 Macbook Pro directly from the US Apple store because they had a promo back then (I think it was like a few beats headphone or something can't remember). What I did was send to to Johnny Air and they brought it here for 3K I think.

Got one yesterday at Powermac. I was actually looking for a Microsoft Surface Go, and was trying my best not to drop by an APR, but I still went home with a Space Gray one. Then when I got home, I suddenly went online to shop for accessories. When will all the spending end?!?

Anyway, I was torn between the gold and space gray. Decided to with the latter as it looks more professional to me, and less bagets. Lol.

Got the space grey macbook air. Just a question regarding time machine. I would like to buy a dedicated external harddisk for time machine. Would 1 tb be enough for it, my MBA has 512gb ssd. Or should I get 3tb? Thanks for your inputs

For the longest time i survived with a 500gb hd for my 512gb mbp lol. I was able to do that because I didn't need everything backed up. I've since upgraded to a 1tb which is sufficient for me. Depends how far back you want your TM to capture + which files you plan on backing up. e.g. videos/music/media I don't include in my backup. My TM is strictly apps and docs.

I am new to the Mac experience. Do I need any antivirus/malware program? They said Macs still get viruses and malware. What do you guys use to protect your Macs? thanks!

I've been a Mac user since 2008 but in all honesty, I never installed an anti-virus. I don't see or feel the need for it primarily because I'm also very cautious with the type of websites I visit and the type of files I allow one person to transfer to my mac.
