I like Boogie, but the lakers will have to give up a lot of players for that to happen. (2nd pick/Randle, Jordan, etc.)

Completely agree. The situation today is a result of allowing a FEW players to get away with a FEW things in the past. Now, A LOT of players get away with A LOT of things.

Pretty soon, palming the ball & 4-steps without a dribble will become legal. Just look at the slam dunk contest during the All-Star break.

The Sacramento Kings wouldn't trade DeMarcus Cousins. Hope he'll be better for next season.

I wonder if the association can still correct it...

I cringe every time the refs don't blow a whistle on blatant traveling violations for the sake of a highlight play.

    Re the slam dunk contests...

They do not impose the game rules for the slam dunk contest. Players can palm the ball, double dribble, or even travel with the ball before any dunk attempt.

Or maybe you're pertaining to this...

The 2015 Taco Bell Skills Challenge during the All Star break.

Patrick Beverly defeated Brandon Knight, even though he flagrantly travelled and double dribbled before he made the final 3 pointer. (Watch Beverly at the background at the 23 second mark of the video.)

What made this incredible was that other players also double dribbled and travelled all throughout the contest.

Yup. That is the NBA's SKILLS Challenge. LOL.
I love this game. But after witnessing this, I knew that the NBA has gone to the dogs.

That's Gerald Henderson. Portland gets weak early in the season.

I think I'll lock myself in a room and cry for a week if Aldridge indeed leaves Portland. Looks like he's really bolting for San Antonio.

I hated the Batum trade, but after a few hours of pondering it may be beneficial for the Blazers in the long run. We've been waiting for Batum to reach the next level, but he never really did become the All-Star that Portland fans hoped he could be. Maybe he's reached his ceiling already, and at that salary with that little production? He sadly wasn't worth it anymore

Russell is a good choice for the Lakers! They have lots of money to get a big man next year. Or they might get Cousins via trade.

I highly doubt if Aldridge signs with the Lakers. His personality just doesn't fit with the bright lights of Los Angeles. I'd be very, very surprised if that happens.
