    it hasn't worked since iOS9 even on the prev Apple TV.

    I have the previous Apple TV and I just had to re-enable home sharing in the Apple TV options for the iOS remote app to work again.

    I follow a number of screens on Amazon Video. Right now, I AirPlay to the Apple TV via my iPad app. I wish AppleTV has a native Amazon Video app to streamline the experience.

    It repeatedly breaks and I have to reenable home sharing I gave up using it. It's buggy useless.

    I don't think Amazon will make an app (for now). They are aggresive competing with media services and devices with Apple.

    hi guys, I need some help...

    so I bought an ATV4 and hooked it up on my network. I removed the ATV3, set it up, and manually placed the DNS based on Unlocator's instruction. Unfortunately it didn't work as the other channels like Hulu and Netflix aren't showing. Tested and re-did everything again a few more times and it still didn't work. So I removed the ATV4 and plugged in the ATV3 again, but this time I could see all the American channels but I couldn't play any one of them. I redid the set up again based on Unlocator's instructions but it still doesn't work. What's peculiar is I could still watch the channels I subscribed to on my Mac.

    anyone have any idea how to fix this? thanks.

    The ATV 4 wont show the channels you mentioned unless you download them from the ATV4's appstore. If you have a US itunes account, Hulu and Netflix apps should be available for download. The GUI of the ATV4 is different from the ATV3.

    ^^with the ATV4, we just need playmotv if I have a US iTunes account? How much would that cost monthly? @ex_bacchus_3: How did you setup yours?

    I have Getflix VPN/DNS set on my ATV4 then have Hulu and Crunchyroll. Hulu is $7.99 a month and if you already have lifetime VPN/DNS subscription that's all there is to it :)

    If the app you already bought is a Universal app like Asphalt 8 then you don't need to buy it again. With tvOS the term Universal app now covers iPhones, iPads, and tvOS. It doesn't include watchOS as the apps are like extensions/plugins.

    i tried getflix and when i subscribe a trial for hulu, a US credit card was required. how do i get around with this? thanks.

    Aargh. 4 days into this device and I couldn't figure out why I screw up the scrolling each time. I just realized today that the new Apple TV doesn't have natural scrolling which is the default scrolling behavior of all iDevices today.
