    Let’s put it this way: After Dany went all-nuclear bombardment with Drogon over King’s Landing while Jon’s forces mowed down a hapless surrendering army, all to topple down the dictator and putative queen Cersei, the symbolism of it all cannot be overemphasized. Just as it is evident in our modern-day reality soap operas, does this harken to a future happening? Will some major force unleash nuclear fire and a land invasion against a troublesome tyrant that will leave so many innocent lives in danger?

    Before we go Biblical on GoT and all the predictions for the last episode of the season, there’s a poll on who will actually get to kill Dany: 78% say it will be Arya, only 12% say it’s Jon while others feel Bronn would do it. But here’s the thing, maybe Dany doesn’t die at all, has a change of heart and joins Jon in the North away from all the vestiges of ruling the Seven Kingdoms. There’s a 32% chance it might happen after all.

    I should've been a screenwriter. Though I forgot to add a lot of gratuitous female nudity in between each of those deaths.
    That'd tie the plot twists together perfectly

    Wow this thread is old, lol.
    Another amazing scene. The actors are always outstanding. Imagine my surprise when I saw Pedro Pascal in Narcos and heard him speak with perfect American accent, haha

    the leaks might have misspelled the name LOL… j/k

    Anyway, I'm still wondering what will the point of the bar scene with Jamie, Tyrion, and Bronn be.

    Cersei's dead so he's not getting Riverrun. He's expecting Highgarden, Tyrion now has to convince Daenerys to make him Lord of Highgarden. Bronn was an officer in Cersei's army and did shoot Drogon with the scorpion in S07E04. Bronn's not going near Daenerys anytime after that KL fiasco. So he's f'ed.

    So I'm expecting Bronn to kill Tyrion. And then credits!… or Tyrion says, kill Daenerys and you'll get KL… or at least something! What a waste of a scene if nothing comes out of it.

    Some scenes in Season 8 that were gratuitous for most:
    1. Jaime and Brienne hooking up - didn’t end up the way we wanted because one wanted to be “hateful” so what was the point of getting there other than to satisfy our prurient interests;
    2. Bronn, Tyrion and Jaime bar scene - for what it’s worth, the actor portraying Bronn got paid half a mil for a scene which has no bearing anymore because both Jaime and Cersei have died;
    3. Jaime and Cersei dying underneath the Red Keep - previous writing indicated that it was going to follow the valonqar prophecy, but we all know what happened instead;
    4. Arya and Gendry sex scene - had no bearing at all but was meant to shock us into thinking Arya had grown up and had some sense to f**k before getting killed;
    5. Jon, Sansa, Arya and Bron at the Godswood - Bran could’ve told his two sisters regardless of Jon’s silence, which he actually did, but doing it at the weirwood tree was a last-minute directorial push;
    6. Lyanna Mormont’s and Dolorous Edd’s return from the dead - where were they when they got resurrected? There wasn’t anymore a scene showing what transpired next other than the opening of their blue eyes;
    7. Arya getting lost in King’s Landing during the dragonfire - for someone who is suppose to be a master assassin not knowing how her escape and evasion plan is downright lazy writing.

    There's some theories out there that Bran warged into Drogon and he's the one responsible for the burning of King's Landing.

    Maybe that's why Dany's face wasn't shown through the whole ordeal?

    Tyrion will kill Dany. Seeing his people mercilessly slaughtered & his home turned to ashes, he will succeed Jaime to become the queen slayer. He will of course die in the process but then Ser Brienne is carrying Jaime’s son ...

    Mm.....it is a Thanos reset, GOT style. By devastating KL and with only a few houses remain standing, whoever will assume power from Cersei can make up the rules. There is a template already: in episode 4, Danaerys made Gendry the new ruler of the Storm Lands. If Tyrion survives, he can be Lord of the Casterly Rock (as he has always wanted to be). If not, Jaime's son or daughter (if ever) can be the successor, not by following the rules of succession but by royal decree (again remaking the rules). Same with the other ruler-less houses (Freys, Boltons etc.). Fresh start.

    My prediction for the finale - None

    After 73 episodes, with 1 to go, I think I’ve finally learned the lesson GOT has been teaching repeatedly - Expect NOTHING

    Just some of the many ways that GOT has subverted expectations...
    • Here is Ned Stark, the only honorable man in the realm, surely they’ll spare him, this early in the game => Nah, let’s take his head off
    • Here are Rob and Talisa, what a lovely couple. Let’s have a wedding => a Red Wedding
    • Here is Stannis, the great general, favored by R’hillor, surely he will defeat the evil Ramsay => Let’s make him burn his own daughter and lose his army
    • Here is Jon, the selfless commander of the Night Watch, he is becoming a leader => And here’s the brotherhood, stabbing him to death
    • Here is the Night King, who has never been able to breach the Wall, and now he has a dragon to contend with => Cool, let’s give him his own dragon
    • Here is Jon chasing the Night King with his Valyrian steel sword, surely now he will fulfill the Azor Ahai prophecy => Fck that, let it be Arya
    • Here is Jaime, falling in love and nearing redemption => Or, just fooling around in a rebound fling
    • Here is Tyrion, the cleverest man in Westeros, let’s make him the Hand of the Queen => And then turn him into the stupidest man in Westeros
    • Here is Cersei, let’s make her feel abandoned and lonely, and let her death be the most gruesome => Nope, let’s reunite her with her true love and make their death poetic
    • Here is Daenerys, Mother of Dragons, Breaker of Chains, etc. => Let’s add, Mass Murderer

    It’s funny but it’s true...some disgusted GoT fans are filing a case for war crimes including genocide, murder and wholesale destruction of property against Daenerys Targaryen with the International Criminal Court (ICC). This is hilarious because it harks back to that case of New Yorkers actually filing a criminal complaint for murder and conspiracy to murder against Tony Soprano.

    What has this world gone into???

    They're at it again, with the final episode leaks and probably the most polarizing so far...here it goes (as usual, these are not my spoiler leaks but beware though):

    1. Tyrion resigns as Hand of the King after telling Dany she's gone mad; Dany directs Grey Worm to incarcerate Tyrion.
    2. Jon tries to reason with Dany but is rebuffed and he stabs her to death; Drogon fires up the Iron Throne and melts it in anger then picks Dany up and disappears into the sky.
    3. Grey Worm arrests Jon and imprisons him with Tyrion.
    4. Sam Tarly calls on the Council (composed of Sansa, Davos, Sam, Bronn) to decide who should rule the Seven Kingdoms, with Tyrion explaining that Jon is the supposed heir to the Throne, but Jon says he does not want it.
    5. The Council selects Bran as the new King with Sansa pushing for it, and Bran accepts it.
    6. Bran appoints Tyrion as his new Hand, Brienne as Lord Commander of the King's Guard, Sam as Grand Maester, and Sansa as Ruler of Winterfell.
    7. Tyrion commands Jon to return to the Night's Watch as punishment for Dany's death, where he reunites with Tormund and Ghost at the Wall.
    8. New appointments are made for Davos as Master of Ships, Yara as Lord of the Iron Islands, Robyn Arrys as Lord of the Mountain and Vale, Gendry as Lord of Storm's End, Bronn as Master of the Coin and Lord of Highgarden. Arya rides away on her horse to the West where she intends to stay for good.
    9. Grey Worm and the Unsullied and the remaining Dothraki sail back to their lands with a mission to continue freeing the slaves.
    10. Before the final credits, a Ranger patrol discovers what could be a White Walker circle of human bodies (like those found in Episode 1 Season 1).

    Not quite what many expected but still it MIGHT just end this way. We'll find out on Monday. Until then, eat veggies, drink coffee, live longer.
