my friend Nikki S predicted on FB the following:

    "GoT forecast:

Arya kills Cersei the green-eyed, with the help of The Hound who battles his brother, Gregor.

Danaerys goes mad, kills everything that comes between her and the throne, including innocents, and burns down King's Landing just like what her father intended.
Jon, being Jon, kills Danaerys, his love, to prevent the slaughter but abdicates the throne because of a broken heart and moves to the real North leaving the throne empty.

Those left, Sansa, Gendry, Yara, Etc, fight for the throne, starting a new series spanning 10 years and 8 seasons. Bran ends up on the throne which he already knew, and thats why he was chill as f ever since this all started.

Bronn gets his bonus, retires, and enjoys a tall, Decaf Stabucks latte to-go every afternoon while gardening."

And what of Jaime and Tyrion? Will they promptly become the new Laurel and Hardy tandem of Westeros?

You’re right about Bran knowing what will happen even before it happens, so he prepares for it and becomes a likable and intuitive guy, prompting the GoT producers to come up with the spinoff “Everybody Loves Bran”.

Drogon, alive and without Dany, will have his own spinoff together with Ghost called “How to Train Your Direwolf - Westeros Edition”

I have a funny feeling that Arya will kill Daenerys and that will break Jon’s heart.

She did that on purpose I think. She’s the new Littlefinger. She’s probably the one who tipped Ceraei to ambush Daenerys.

That would be too easy. Arya would have too jump over Tyrion to get to Dany in the throne room while she and Jon are renewing their goals, errr vows...the audience will get to know it because Tyrion’s beard will feel the whiff of the wind in this one...

But taken into context, Dany is not even on Arya’s list and she has pledged to off everyone else there leaving just two, The Mountain and Cersei. To do that to Dany would mean she sees her as a real threat and that would mean she would have to be in a position to harm Jon.

Sansa and Arya see Dany as the threat to their family and the North. Arya killed Littlefinger for the similar reasons.

But then again, this might be too much of a twist for the show.

Mm....In defense of Dany......too convenient for Dany to just lose it and justify her murder. In her successful campaign in conquering Essos, she spared the common folks (no collateral damage in today’s euphemism). She only went after her enemies and resorted to violence as a reaction to the actions of her enemies. I can’t think of one instance where innocent blood was spilt to further her single-minded ambition to reclaim the Iron throne. How can that be wrong?

Mm...in defense of Sansa......she is not after the throne to rule the 7 Kingdoms but to prevent another tyrant from lording it over the North. The Starks and the North have always been loyal to whomever sits on the Iron throne and look at where it got them? A beheaded father, two murdered brothers and mother. The north has bled for far too long. It is time for full independence from the southern rulers. Sansa is merely continuing what her brother started....establish a true King in the North, answerable to no one except the Northern folks. Dany is an obstacle that needs to be removed. Is she wrong?

    Rooting for Cersei to win..

BUT Daenerys is the one who deserves the iron throne the most, book-wise and show-wise.

Sansa is a true Northerner, shaped by destiny and pedigree even before she knew it was to be so. Her experiences with Joffrey, Ramsay, and Littlefinger may have scarred her for life but it taught her a lesson so valuable to survive the Westerosian political landscape: stay alive, do what you can, keep your enemies close, demand what is yours. That she is protecting what is hers and her family’s is what makes her strong and ruthless now, and she will not give up without a fight even if it means doing the same thing she did against Ramsay and Baelish.

If this were Survivor Westeros, Cersei deserves to be declared the winner because she played the game better than anyone, she held her cards close to her, and she was willing to do what she needs to do to win it.

Dany is the sentimental favorite to win, the girl everyone was rooting for to dethrone the frontrunner. She would have to do with No.2.

Jon, who still knows nothing, would have been out of the game a long time ago. His honorable demeanor and nobility has no place in such cutthroat competition. He is only as good as making everybody else feel good but not enough for him to win it all. He carries their burden and that slogs him down. He is a victim of his own goodness.

Sansa is the most fearsome behind that facade that she projects. Her strength is shaped by her scars and her desire to make it work no matter what. What will bring her down to No.4 is her derision for competition because she operates best in the sidelines.

Arya is the strongest but this is also her weakness. She thrives in the most difficult environments because she is a fighter. But she only sets her mind on that and nothing else and would not accept commitments and companionship because it will slow her down. She only has herself to think of to survive.

I've had this nagging feeling that it will be Sansa who will end up killing Cersei.

Read this GoT theory on the topic.

But then, I feel that Sansa isn't among anybody's list of favorite GoT characters and might not be deserving of this honor. However, among all the protagonists, she hasn't had a major kill yet.

Too many feelings. It's just a show, for dragon's sake!

Mmm....if you mean the destruction of King's Landing in order to defeat Cersei and take the Iron Throne (root and stem line).....does Dany have any other choice? Circumstances does not give her any other viable choice.

During the command conference after the Battle of Winterfell, it was decided, at the advice of Tyrion, to starve the city residents out by surrounding KL and precipitate a rebellion against Cersei from within King's Landing. Good plan except how will the rebellion fare? IMO, very, very badly. We all know that Cersei cares not for the people of KL. She has at her disposal the Lannister army, the Golden Company and the City Watch. Do you think that she will hesitate to unleash those forces to crush a civilian rebellion? Result: a massive massacre of poorly-armed and starving civilians. The plan will fail and accomplish nothing.

Cersei is an evil b with no redeeming quality... I say Dracarys, too (to echo Missande)....no matter the cost.

It is not without real historical parallels. An example: The firebombing (with the use of incendiary bombs) of Dresden by allied forces during World War II resulted in the death of tens of thousands of German civilians...in a single night. Dresden was not a militarily-valuable city in Nazi Germany. It was part of a campaign to terrorize Germany. Was it justified?

WW II was total war. So is Westeros. Dany is now in total war mode. Will she?
