^ yep - exactly what i was thinking too. especially with the quotes of pertaining to "a beloved character". GG
^Herschel's death was different from the comics, and so was Tyreese...
so is Glenn "saved" by TWD writers, or did they just off him like most had often thought he would...?
Yeah I actually did not mind the cliffhanger in the series finale. It's as much trolling as the GOT's ending making us wonder if Jon Snow actually died in that last scene. They have to leave something so that you'll be hanging on 'till the next season...right?
Yeah, me, too. I actually think it was a great finalé. That was quite a build-up they did there – the heartbeat-like background sound, the they-re-there-everywhere-they-turn, Maggie's complication and Rick's pitiful attempt at convincing her (and himself) that this is not it.
And, boy, did Negan break Rick.
^Nobody breaks Rick like Negan...heck, even the Guv'nor couldn't make Rick flinch and he was badass then...wait, Carol did make Rick flinch once...
My bet is Michonne or Daryl, but i am not discounting Glenn. Or maybe Negan will change his mind and kill the 2 of them instead.
Anyone watching Fear The Walking Dead? Or these beauties?
I still don't like Fear the Walking Dead. The characters are so unrelatable.
Just a few days before the S7 premiere!
So, it turns out two were killed. What a way to start Monday.
Finally, it's done...two down and out and we have a series...
Am just waiting if there are new babes in the woods, tho' ...too much violence is killing me here, pun intended
Just got spoiled on FB, Damn mouse scroll!!!!
Ang sakit sa dibdib! On the other hand, the show runners have been successful in depicting the evilness of Negan convincingly. You can feel yourself hating the character, damay na rin the smug portrayal of Jeffrey Dean Morgan. Plus the crushing defeat of Rick in Andrew Lincoln's facial expression. What great actors!!!
Even though we knew someone would be gone by today's episode (in fact for some reason I had an inkling there would be more than one death), it was still a physically draining experience watching the episode. I thought I had mentally prepared myself, ha ha. Boy, was I wrong in that regard..... that was indeed savage.
That eyeball did it for me...
Me, I'm giving up on the show. Too intense for me, and this season premiere tipped me over. I've long wanted to give it up, but I've been holding on hoping things would turn out better. It's only gotten worse. Bye, Walking Dead.
My thoughts on this.
First WD episode that I am not allowing my kids to watch.
I've read reviews saying that they should have split up the double whammy. in other words, the season 6 ender should have already revealed that Abraham was the first victim, but not knowing that Glenn wasnt far behind.. & in the season 7 opener, thats when the viewers find out that Negan was far from done. that would have had a "better" (or worse) impact for the fans.
it seems that some die hard followers of the comics & TV show were able to figure out that these 2 were the most likely to go. I guess the 6 month wait since the cliffhanger allowed them to do that. so it was argued that if they went that route, nobody would have figured out that Glenn would be gone by the first episode. & that would have been an absolute shocker & more gut wrenching scene.
Who really died in that episode...
