I felt really old reading this reply When I saw the term "CO2 tank"... It reminded me of an airgun tank, not paintball *** PepsiCo to buy SodaStream for $3.2 billion | CNBC
check this. before you have to have it fabricated but looks like some are ready made already. had this problem before but didn't push thru. https://www.lazada.com.ph/catalog/?...input&spm=a2o4l.home.search.go.239e6ef0ynfiIs
no fabricating to be done - i found a contact who is selling the parts needed (i guess for businesses?). my current bill of materials include a hose adapter (from Sodastream to the CO2 tank) and the CO2 tank itself. the refills will also be taken care of by said contact.
if you have a couple of cans, and willing to experiment a bit, you can refill with dry ice (there are youtube videos for that as well)
okay, SodaStream with me now. when am back home i'll take a trip to the store and get the stuff tested and purchased. give me a week and i'll update with my findings.
i got the gear from the supplier (brass fittings for the Sodastream connected to a very heavy duty and difficult to bend hose, and the 10lb CO2 tank, ). works quite well, and the seller is very accommodating with testing the fitting itself with you before you get a tank and hose attachment.
Nope. Wifey ordered directly from Sodastream's US website. For years, I DIY fresh lemonade, but I can't complain about the convenience and variety of drink mixes. What flavour(s) do you DIY?
have only started recently since i only managed to get my Sodastream unit from the US + CO2 tank mod recently, so it's just lemonade at the moment. am looking to try a lemon-lime recipe i found online soon. not flavour-related, but i did manage a decent version of Andytown's snowy plower (https://www.thecoffeeconcierge.net/andytown-snowy-plover-recipe/) yesterday using concentrated cold brew instead of espresso though...
Am trying this carbonated flavored water experiment once my Sodastream arrives from the US. I guess I will just have to rely on my daughter sending me a CO2 supply if there isn’t one here anymore.
Some true value branches sell refilled soda stream CO2 tanks for P1550. You have to trade-in the used tank though. What I'm looking for is a local supplier for the Soda Stream Cola syrup. Any leads?
FWIW, I've been using these flavours for the past seven or so months. Don't know if they're available in Manila, but I source them abroad, and my supplier sources them from AU/NZ. https://www.sodapressco.com Better than Soda Stream mixes, IMO.
I was initially curious about SodaStream when I saw this thread, then I saw this on facebook https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/304044506889949/ Aside from ordering from the US, is this available on local stores? Thank you
Found a very accomodating source in Marikina for CO2 systems and he had an available Soda Stream unit for sale, not sure if he still has it. Contact Bubble Innovations via text or email
