    Well, this settles it.

    THE WINDS OF WINTER is not finished.

    Believe me, it gave me no pleasure to type those words. You're disappointed, and you're not alone. My editors and publishers are disappointed, HBO is disappointed, my agents and foreign publishers and translators are disappointed... but no one could possibly be more disappointed than me. For months now I have wanted nothing so much as to be able to say, "I have completed and delivered THE WINDS OF WINTER" on or before the last day of 2015.

    But the book's not done.    ​

    Well, as they say, you can't rush art. (But time is money. So...) Given that HBO doesn't show any signs of stopping/waiting, and given the delay of the next book, we should expect more differences between what's on screen and what's written. However, Martin has already revealed the ending to the producers anyway so I guess it's not impossible for him to divulge more character and story aspects to them while they proceed with filming sans his book/s.

    How amazing was that moment when Sansa accepted, finally, Brienne's oath? (Or whatever it's called). So excited for episode 2.

    According to some, Jon may wake around episode 3. Rumors. Rumors. Rumors.

    And that necklace of Melisandre. Imagine having one. Rocking yeezys at the age of 147. Lol.

    ^I almost thought they would show Melisandre down to her bxxbs at that age...i was ready to shut if off but alas, they didn't and the world was safe again...
