I totally love the iSync application but after I've configured all the devices I want to synchronize I rarely fiddle with the application. Now, I find it cumbersome to launch the application, click the Sync button, and then close the application after Sync-ing. After searching Google a bit, I found a small application that does just what I want it to -- Sync Now. This application is sweet and simple. Once launched, Sync Now opens iSync, invokes the "Sync all devices" command, and closes iSync (and itself) after completion. Paired with Quicksilver? Sync-ing has never been easier. Erratum: the application is actually called "Sync Now" not "iSync Now." I have edited the text on my post but can't seem to find how to correct the thread name. Mods please help?
About iSync... is there a way to sync individual phones with different contacts? I mean I have 2 phones, one for globe and the other for smart. I sync both with isync, and contacts from my globe phone get mixed with contacts from my sun phone. How do you separate the 2?
surgfish, in iCal, you can create groups or smart groups to separate the entries from your 2 phones, and sync only with the group you've designated.
