Hello, Anyone here who works near MOA or lives in Las Pinas area? I was hoping I could borrow or copy Mavericks installer. I tried downloading several times and my download breaks because of the Globe FUP. Anyone? thanks.
hi po, i have an early 2011 Macbook Pro with 4gb of RAM, i'm thinking of upgrading my unit to mavericks, can my unit handle the requirements of Mavericks? or will my unit slow down because i only have 4gb of ram? i really can't decide if i will upgrade to mavericks or stay at mountain lion. please po, help me decide.
Does any have any difficulties on their mid 2009 MBP updating from Snow Leopard to Mavericks 10.9.2? Kindly share naman about speed or any bugs, speed, and battery life improvements as well browsing experience. I'm quite hesitant kung konti lang ang improvements or baka worst mabagal. My MBP system: 2.6ghz 4GB RAM Also, I want to download a Mavericks 10.9.2.dmg file for MBA mid 2013 a special build for this together with MBPr. Where I can secure a copy? Many have said online that the special build for MBA mid 2013 is not available on Internet Recovery download you will only get the previous version when you download from here that came with your MBA on the time of that your purchased. How true is this? Any help are greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance - Alvin
Already got a copy of mavericks installer. Still deciding if i would already install it. Anyone here uses an Avid Fastrack USB? My question is if i upgrade my os to the latest mavericks version, will the Avid Fastrack USB still work? Are there any issues? Thanks.
^^For me, I'm also hesitant if I should install Mavericks to make a front row from my old Snow Leopard, because when I was just in installing process it was very turtle-lish moving, my internet speed is not overwhelming. Any inputs upgrading their OS from Snow Leopard to Mavericks?
I got a copy from someone who already downloaded it. Copied it to my usb. I tries downloading it but keeps on breaking when i pause-continue my download.(my internet speed sucks) I just updated my mbp to mavericks. Now updating everything. I just hope my avid fastrack usb will still work with garage band or with my mbp itself. Lets see.
Does anyone downloaded 10.9.2 special build for MBA mid 2013? If its alright can I copy? My internet provider always had a long downtime hours most of the time I can't download it, Also the speed is too slow. Thanks in advance. - Alvin
^ I have downloaded the 10.9.2 combo update and made a bootable flash out of it. I already have successfully updated several desktop Macs from it but don't know yet if this will be fine for portables particularly MBA mid 2013. At any rate, I'm willing to lend mine.
I think thats different build the special build should be downloaded into MBA mid 2013 itself through internet recovery partition. Specifically MBA mid 2013 bought months after the public released or units preloaded with Mavericks 10.9 when they bought it mine was the case. This is why, I'm looking for someone who downloaded it already in their using internet recovery on MBA mid 2013 the 10.9.2. Thanks for the reply and for the offer dryxzz.
hi guys. sorry to butt in. this question might have been answered in other (who knows where) pages within this thread, but I'm gonna ask again anyway. I'm a newbie to mac, and I'm using a macbook white mid 2010 with the basic sys req for mavericks but is currently running mountain lion smoothly. and I'm seriously thinking of updating to mavericks as i think my mb meets the basic sys reqs. but i ran into few comments about running mavericks on a 2gb ram and they said its "unusable." Now the risky part is this, if mavericks will really be staggering, il be forced to restore it with the stock os cd that comes with the package (Snow Leopard!). Should i go with the update and trust apple that they had mavericks tested to the oldest mac hardware possible? Or should i upgrade my ram first (now this won't happen in the near future) and continue living peacefully with mountain lion?
