Hi cmclim, This is for users of Yahoo Mail. Note: free Yahoo Mail accts does not work on Mail, Yahoo will only let you use their POP incoming mail server if you subscribe to a premium acct. So.... 1. create a Gmail acct. 2. open Mail > File > Add Acct. then your Mac will guide you through the steps! Some muggers have posted a way to forward messages to their yahoo acct using their Gmail acct as the POP mail server, just do a search for that if you want to synchronize all your mail to your Yahoo acct.
Its true, if you have a gmail account you can configure it your Mac Mail: check this oone out: http://www.macosxhints.com/article.php?story=20041110192454841
Not entirely true. Yahoo Philippines ([email protected]) offers free POP access. I'm using one now on my Mail app.
I'm using Gmail with Mail 3.0. Try this out: http://www.macosxhints.com/article.php?story=20041110192454841
@melo: Yahoo Philippines ba ang account mo? If so, all I did was add a new account in Mail, wrote my name, complete e-mail address, password, and checked the "automatically set up account" box. Yun lang. Mail set ups everything and I'm done.
Register ka lang sa Yahoo Philippines. Although baka mahirapan ka sa pag-migrate at first kasi message forwarding from Yahoo US (yung @yahoo.com lang) is still a paid service. If you want to transfer all your mail from your previous Yahoo account, you'll need to forward all of them to your new Yahoo PH account yourself. And you'll also want to announce to your contacts na you'll be using a new e-mail address. IN SHOOOOORT.. Hahaha. You're going to create a new Yahoo Mail account sa Yahoo Philippines.
Kelangan talaga may .ph ang end. Hahaha. STRESS mo yan sa mga contacts mo kasi baka makalimutan nila at di mo ma-receive ang mail mo. @yahoo.com.ph at yahoo dot com dot pi-ech!
