I heard from the grapevine that the iPhone 12 series may launch on December 11. Preorders could open a week ahead on December 4, with possible press release going out on the week commencing November 30. Timing could still change though.
I wonder how they will be doing their preorder this time? Can’t even speak to an agent in their hotline this time around, how much more during the preoder. Will they be doing it online? How reliable is their system? Will there be enough stocks for those who are planning to upgrade? Hopefully we can have a smooth preorder this year so we can have a merry christmas.

Both RMs got back to me. Pre-orders through corporate channels are accepted but confirmation will occur once price list is divulged. A lot of corporate double speak.
It was awful. Lalo na, ikaw maghahanap ng unit per branch na malapit sa yo. Since iPhone 7Plus, wala nang smooth na pre-order ang globe.
it will not make sense for them to release it on January. i think they will release it December even if the stocks will be very low to drive up interests and pre orders.

apple has not traditionally released in January sa PH. even the iphone X that also released in November official launch in US, arrived in PH by december despite the high demand due to its first major change in hardware after several years. For iPhone 12 series (in this case iphone 12 pro max since that is what i’m eyeing), I dont think there’s a shortage too since just ten days after release prices have gone down already, the iphone 12 pro max 128gb (hk variant) is already being sold at 69k, almost srp price na for PH. Just last friday my cousin bought one for 71k which actually surprised me since that’s just a week after release and its really not that bad of a price na if you want one kaagad
