I have an out of warranty iPhone 6s from globe. It is unlocked as it is out of contract.

May I know where I can avail of the ₽1,500 battery replacement without need of diagnosis fee.

I'm scheduled to have my extra 6S' battery replaced (Apple Store) before my Manila trip...

I'll just leave the phone at home for whoever is interested in using it

It will depend if they have the battery available. Mine lasted for 2 hours which includes the diagnostic and replacement of the battery for my 6s plus. If in case they do not have the battery, they can run the diagnostic first (which is at 800 pesos) then they will order the battery for you (which they say would be less than 2 weeks). Then they will call you once the battery is available for the replacement

    I see. So PHP 800 + P 1,500 = PHP 2,300 all in?

I remember paying P800 for diagnostics, but that was all (for my 6S). TAT was about 5 days

Di you guys know what service center replaces iphone batteries the fastest? My iphone 7+ battery health is at 82%. Anyone here replaced their iphone 7+ battery already? Do they guaranty the water resistance after battery replacement?

Paid exactly 1,500. As mentioned by another member, see quote below.

Had the batteries of our iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus replaced at Power Mac Megamall two weekends ago. The iPhone 6 battery was available so replacement took only 3 hours (plus some time to queue). The 6 Plus battery wasn't available and we were told it could take 2-3 weeks turnaround time; but we got a call less than a week later that the phone was ready for pickup.

Paid just P1,500 each. If diagnostics reveal other issues and we decide not to push through with battery replacement, diagnostic fee payable would have been P1,800 (go figure). The iPhone 6 had some minor wifi issues so I said, replace the battery anyway so I need only pay P1,500 instead of P1,800 (and we could still use the phone as a backup).

Hi! Do your phones have tempered glass installed? Did they remove it when it was returned to you? My 6S+’ battery is at 73%. Still on the fence whether to avail of the program before it ends or just buy a new phone. Lol

Yes, both phones. I was told beforehand that the tempered glass might have to be removed, but they released both phones with the tempered glass protector untouched.

Do you need to back up everything before having the battery replaced? Will they put it in factory settings?

Ideally, you should backup your iPhone at least 1x a month in case of damage, theft or loss.

Was curious, what happened to the phone wifi issues after the battery was replaced? I want to replace my iPhone 6's battery but sometimes its touch screen acts weird. I'm afraid it might get worse after the battery replacement.

Can't really say with absolute certainty since the phone is now just a backup phone for the family. But from my limited time tinkering with it, my perception is that it seems wifi reception has improved and the battery replacement may or may not have had a hand in the improvement.

With diagnosis (and the requisite diagnostic fee) the service guys may be able to determine whether battery replacement may still be worth it, despite the touch screen issues.
