i'm not having issues with my internet bill so far but i'm getting charged with myGlobe. I'm not sure why i am being charged. I don't use myGobe amd it keeps increasing everytime i check for my unbilled fees.

just always remember, always check your APN after doing any of the ff: SW updates, resets, carrier settings update.

i did the same too. when i got the text from globe that i had unbilled charges amounting to P2,300.00 just after a weekend. and i was not even doing any internet browsing during that time. I decided to request globe to cutoff my internet service. baka umabot pa ng P20K or more yung bill ko kung di ko ipapaputol yung internet. Good thing they adjusted my next bill. Using my own wifi at home now. Globe, AFFORDABLE UNLIMITTED INTERNET PLANS PLEASE!

Unlimited data plan is really required for the iPhone to fully enjoy all its great features. I hope Globe will change their iPhone rate plans soon.

This happened to me just recently. My case is still pending but somehow 2 bills have conveniently and in a timely manner been sent to me already. I was being charged data charges amounting to 9 days which was impossible. I get tons of emails daily and all day everyday. I have Google Alerts, lots of work related email notifications, etc. As a developer, I would obviously easily distinguish if I've received an email, twitter alert or whathaveyou through my line's 3G/Edge connection.

In this case, at least you can say Globe's billing department is efficient in sending their statements. I am of course, being sarcastic.

Hi guys apparently the people at Globe are aware of these problems. Well at least my CSR is aware of the problem. She even told me that, yes, even if she changed the APN she would get connected to Globe. She told me that the solution is to turn the phone on and off or power cycle the phone when you change the APN.

I told her why just tell me this now and not warn me when I first got the iPhone?

They used to offer it for P2000 under Globe Visibility, but that was more than 2 years ago and they did not have any competition then. With the current plan P999 of Sun Cellular which offers unlimited calls and text plus unlimited mobile data, I think they should just match that price range.
