My PowerBook is turning two and am on the first year of AppleCare. So far none yet, but will have my now 2-hour life battery replaced soon, thanks for the tip Elbert.

If the battery lasts for just 2 hours or less, then it's definitely qualified to be replaced. I really don't know what the parameters are, but 2 hours would mean a capacity that's 50% of the original, so I suspect it's based on Ah rating. iBatt is a tool that can help you determine. | ||||||||||||

BTW, if you purchase AppleCare Protection Plan for iPod, even the earphones are covered by warranty.
