Jonathan Ive is actually on top of my mind. Good design rules. Not just from the form factor but into the operating system as well.

I doubt it....

Because while Apple products are renowned for design, ultimately what will keep Apple going will be a great businessman. A lot of people can design great products, but a visionary with business savvy and a personality that generates a cult like following is whats needed to be able to run Apple after Steve.

I disagree with you zChris. You can be a businessman but you dont have a designer intuition you will end up a BORING company!

I think Jonathan Ives is a best fit for apple's next steve jobs.

I'm not sure it's at the same level as steve's but jony has charisma as well. Watch the videos of him talking about apple products and you'll see it as well. Well he's better than the other Apple execs.

So far I think he's the best fit.

Just imagine how great you can be if you would hold Job's position. In fact, Jobs can be considered as ,to some he is, a Super-empowered invidual and I have a strong feeling that he is more popular than other countries in the world including tha country, Nagorno-Karabakh. (Do i even know that country?) If its Ives, got a big shoes to fill.

Personally, I think its that out-of-the-box thinking that started Apple from day one that will continue and make the company move forward into the future. And that kind of creative thinking is always evolving. A business strategy might be successful today but not tomorrow. Because technology, just like fashion and design gets outdated quickly, and that is also dictated by consumer behavior. This may sound clichι but in the fast-paced world of technology, its evolve or die.
