lemme ask my officemate. saw that in GH its selling for only 18K.

Just 3 things I like about this
30GB HDD - asus only has less than half of it
touch screen - yeah baby
flippable screen

and if the GPS module is available, im sold na to this compared to eeepc. Never mind that its Via chip.

hmmm, i just found out that someone from here posted the idea at http://cloudbookumpc.com/

sana naman if they're from the Astone group, they can give me a discount and then support me on the dash mod to test out my idea

It'll be documented at least. Though I would definitely need to get some more stuff to make the idea work
a. bluetooth keyboard - definitely cant type with the keyboard on the dash - and flipped too.
b. GPS module (cant find it in the net -- and i hope its Garmin mapsource and Nroute compatible - im already using ver 3.01 of the Phil GPS map on my )
c. a new upper dash for my Mazda3 (i already scouted - its around P3K for the 1-din mod) and padded well. I know Lawrence's Mac Mini failed a little later on bec tha HDD failed due to excessive shock on the unit)
d. I already have 2 external HDD that will house my iTunes, but I will also need to get pa an external DVD writer USB, so that I can also use it to watch DVD concerts, and movies on long road trips

i also eyed this one for a while, but i think the 3epc is still the better choice.

this is actually the Via Reference Nanobook which i think came out of europe. this was the base model for the packard bell umpc.

and another thing i read somewhere that this crawls when you start net browsing while listening to your mp3s.
