There is a thread here about the brands of ram that works best in macbooks. I myself just bought a ddr2 667 mhz from a shop at gilmore and luckily it worked. But I read that there are some brands that do now work well with mac.

I order my ram from a store in Cubao. This is the delivery man;s cel no. +639206445110. Name is Louie. See if he still works for that company. Sorry but this is my only lead. Saw the ad at tipidpc.com but I cannot remember more details.
