Playing around with the telephoto lens, here's a couple of scenes, unprocessed. The first with the lens in wide, the second on full zoom and the third is the same zoom with the telephoto lens attached.

I took these from the driver's seat of my car while waiting for the light to turn green. I had no time to tweak the shooting settings, and I should post process, but this demo is really all about showing you how the camera behaves with the telephoto lens attached. Does the cheap lens over the Leica lens matter? I really cant tell.

I don't think nissin has any ttl compatible flash for Oly/pana, but you can still use it in manual mode

So what does the max focal length become (from the original 60) when you put the telephoto lens?

Parang I want one din. This negates the G10's "only" advantage over the LX3. Hehe.

I'm actually liking the telephoto lens kit I purchased. The 45-52mm adapter is made by PandaBase and the telephoto lens is made by Rowa Optics. The build quality on both is exceptional.

The tube can be left on for 52mm filters and such, and it won't create a vignette even at the widest setting. I noticed it casts a shadow when the internal flash is used though, and the auto-focus assist lamp hits it, so I'm not sure if it affects the camera's autofocusing capabilities.

When the telephoto is attached, you'll need to set the lens to full zoom, otherwise, you'll be shooting the tube itself (I don't know the photog term for it).

For only P2,500, notwithstanding the aggravation imposed on me by the Philippine Postal service, it's a great buy. It makes my LX3 funner to use.

Sir Elbert, Looks like I might get one from Lis I already have the panasonic lens adapter so I think I'll just use a 46-52mm stepup ring for it
