Exclusive digital distribution rights deal for Disney soundtracks
Walt Disney Records has signed a deal with Apple, giving the iTunes Music Store exclusive digital distribution rights until 30 September.
Soundtracks from Disney's classic animated films and Disney/Pixar's computer-animated films will feature in a 'Disney' genre page within the iTunes Music Store.

The deal could have been better. Exclusive distribution rights until September 30, 2004? That doesn't seem too long a period. Why do I get the feeling that Eisner & Co. are just testing the waters and won't hesitate to switch allegiance the moment it suits them?
BTW, Disney chose Microsoft's technology for the distribution of some of its digital contents a couple of months back (link). Boo! ;-)
