wow the ibooks are so close to the powerbooks now... it's crazy to get a powerbook if you can get an ibook that is practically as powerful as the powerbook these days..

hmm wonder when the new powerbooks will come out

The new iBooks do come close I have to admit. Although having seen an iBook beside my powerbook there's still a big difference between the two. Performance they're pretty close but the screen is where the powerbook still has an edge. So with the build quality. The powerbook seems more solid. Although, I'm not saying this to put down the iBook, merely to say that if you go for a powerbook it's still worth the extra cash.

If you're a student or you use a computer for email, surfing, etc.. the iBook is more than fantastic. If you're a professional and you make a living of your computer, the powerbook is for you.

I noticed Ynzal was selling the 12" iBook for P70t w/ 3 year applecare, anyone care to guess what these new models will sell for here and if the "old" models will go on clearance sale?
