Hello Everyone,
While the appleinsider's reputation for accuracy has been tarnished by missing a lot of the products introduced at the recent Macworld in San Francisco, let's hope this latest prediction about the upcoming iBook proves accurate.
well i was one of, perhaps scores of people waiting for the intel ibook then. i relied on their predictions and forego a last rev Powerbook purchase in the holidays. anyway i still stuck with getting a brand new pb (just recently through a great deal) even with the MacBook Pro in sight. really hate the name and the fact that Rosetta is a huge ram overhead on pro apps.
i had mixed feelings about the MacBook Pro annoucement, makes me think how can they have overlooked that intel iMac Steve Jobs was using in the mid-year announcement of apple's intel transition. it just made sense then that the iMac was gonna go first since it was already done, lol.
if the ibook will turn out to be THE 'MacBook' after all, for me, that sounds just right.
20" iMac Al C2D 2.0GHz • 15" PowerBook G4 1.67GHz Last Gen • 4GB Black iPod Nano 1G • Nike + iPod Sport Kit
it's bound to come. i'd prefer to hold out for that "macbook mini" or macbook nano or whatever they call it--i want my vaio-sized macbook!

Actually, he wasn't using an Intel iMac during his WWDC 2005 keynote. It was just an Apple HD Cinema Display that was on his table. I suppose he was using a Power Mac with an Intel processor, similar to the ones they sent out as development boxes.Originally Posted by J

I think iBook will still be named iBook, this way people can relate it to the iPod. Like what they did with the launching of the imac g5 "From the makers (designers?) of the iPod... the iMac g5...(Insert "let's get it started" music...)
Personally though, ampangit ng name na "Macbook". And I'm not the only one who thnks so too hahaha...![]()
