Macworld Conference & Expo is once again extending special user group
pricing for the upcoming 2007 Macworld Expo.

For a limited time, Apple User Group members can register for a
free Exhibit Hall pass or enjoy an even better value by taking 15percent
off any of the Macworld conference packages. Both options represent a
substantial savings, and are available only to members using the user
    group priority code.

User groups can also display a link to the Macworld web site or run
the discount and advertisement in group newsletters.

    User Group Discounts:

    September 19 - October 30, 2006
Free Exhibit Hall Pass or 15 percent off the any of the conference
    packages.

    October 31 - December 11, 2006
15 percent off the any of the conference packages.

    User Group Priority Code: D-MUG.

    Registration opens September 19.

(Visit the web site for conference details, rules and package pricing.)
I read this at the MacOSG forum. I wonder if this also applies to other Apple User Groups such as PhilMUG.

ah, macworld... what happy memories i had of this event earlier this year (good grief, will it be a year that soon?). i'm praying that our man adel gabot goes this time--he's overdue for his first macworld!

i'm actually flying home from the US to the philippines on dec. 29, so i can teach jan. 2--sayang talaga, could've gone to macworld all over again!

^^ Sayang naman. Quite the opposite with me actually since I'm flying in late December, just in time for my very first Macworld!

Actually the 15% off thing also applies to the coupon code above. I wanted to get a package where it includes the keynote but I don't have $200 lying around so I settled for FREE instead.

So what are your predictions for the 2007 keynote?

for one, rumor sites think Apple won't be able to surprise us with the Leopard debut, but again, Steve Jobs may actually announce its release during his keynote.

iTV is also something to look forward to.

what else do you think will be in apple's list aside from the 11 or 12-inch macbook pro?

    1. Probably the Apple cellphone (I would have called it the iPhone but the iPhone is already a Linksys product).

    2. A new video iPod. Something with a bigger screen, much like the concept iPods that have been floating around in the rumor mills.

    3. I agree with hannibal. There may be a MacBook Pro nano (as Elbert might have called it).

    4. Definitely iTV.

    5. Leopard (aka 10.5)

    6. Who knows maybe iLife '07?

Although most of the products above have had some kind of publicity in the rumor mills during the past few months it still is hard to pinpoint which among them (if in case they do come out) would be the "one more thing..." announcement. It is quite possible that a completely unheard of product may be released.
