Mac OSX in PC's???

i heard from a friend last night that there's going to be Mac OSX in PC's? is this true? if it is, i think it would be a bad move for apple coz it'd be suicide!!! suicide i tell ya!!!:upset:

anways, could just be a rumor because of the move of apple to INTEL INSIDE, and also with the announcement of DELL that they are considering moving to the mac platform, if steve the man opens up the OS.

Will any PC be able to run OS X for Intel?

"Apple says no. Our guess is that some enterprising hacker may be able to get it to work, but we'd expect that getting OS X to run on PC hardware would be a laborious process, and the result might not be a particularly stable system. You certainly won't be able to buy OS X, stick the installation DVD into a Dell PC, and have it just work. Apple intends for OS X to run only on Apple hardware."

I'll give Steve 2 years -- I'm sure market forces would have convinced him that there's no denying the fact that 500,000,000 PC's out there is a potentially big market for OS X.

last monday, i went to gilmore it center to browse some accessories for my mac. thats when i saw a computer shop from afar with the logo of Mac OS X on the desktop of PC laptop. i thought that PC could now run Mac na but when i approach the unit, it was just a wallpaper. it was still running on XP... whew!
