Do you think this is possbile? Or is it just a rumor?

Re: How true is the 12" Macbook Pro?
It's about as true as any rumor. It certainly doesn't seem out of the realm of possibility, but I highly doubt they will release a 12" MacBook Pro for a few reasons.
First, all Macs are widescreen. If anything, it would be a 13" like the current MacBooks. Also, all the Pro Apps are designed to work on much larger resolutions than currently available on the 13" MacBook. Aperture on a MacBook screen looks very cramped. If the Pro Apps are any indication, Apple does not intend on releasing a (relatively) lower resolution MacBook Pro. Of course, they could just make the display even higher resolution, but at that point readability suffers, and the higher resolution monitor is self-defeating.
As much as I would love to see an ultraportable MBP (the size of the current MBP lineup is what prevents me from buying one), I highly doubt it will come to fruition.

Maybe... might be possible. Apple had 12-incher iBooks and PowerBooks, why not with the MacBook Pros?

Re: How true is the 12" Macbook Pro?
I myself would want a 12 inch MacBook Pro that runs on G5. Now that is an impossibility.
I think it's so unfortunate that the 12 inch MacBook Pro will not be released just because its resolution will not work with Final Cut Pro. What about the rest of us mere mortals who do not use Final Cut Pro and pretty much just use Write Room, Microsoft Word, Quicktime Pro, Safari, iTunes, and, well, Super Text Twist? :P
