    Default An Apple PDA...almost!

I'm sure it would have been great! Oh well...

MacNN and AppleInsider confirms an almost Apple PDA.

Apple CEO Steve Jobs made a number of interesting statements. Most notably, Jobs confirmed that Apple had designed its own PDA device, but canned the project just prior to bringing it to market.

Seeming PDAs are in a decline and smartphones are becoming more popular I have to say Jobs made a good call this time round.

I'm game for an iPhone.

When it comes to making business decisions, Steve Jobs has been more right than wrong w/ his instincts.

What's also interesting in the AppleInsider article that CHU cited is the occasion at which Steve made his comments was at very influential Wall Street Journal columnist Walt Mossberg's "D: All Things Digital" conference, w/c always attracts industry bigwigs.

The AppleInsider article author, Kasper Jade, summarizes the performance of this year's "D" Conference speakers: "Steve Jobs dazzled a very exclusive, high-powered crowd. Carly Fiorina of Hewlett-Packard spoke before him, and took a barrage of questions for which she didn't have good answers; Bill Gates spoke of the digital hub in only the broadest visionary terms. Jobs was amazing and very insightful, and he actually delivered."
