If this is true, then it looks like I'm going to change my phone yet again.
It never ends!! It never ends!!!
From the article, it's all speculation. Guys, do you think Apple will really get into the mobile phone business?

Oh wow. If that happens, then great-goody-goody-gumdrops... But somehow I don't think it will, because maybe Apple wouldn't wanna go thru the hassle of dealing with the cellular service providers; not to mention completely going away from their core business... :wound:
But I sure hope it does happen tho. :P

It looks a lot like an SE T610.

I like the psychology part, if Steve Jobs is really frustrated in using his cell phone. He knows Apple can make a better mobile phone and he will challenge the engineers to make make it happen.
For me the key equation will be:
iPod super mini + easy txt + easy call + mobile games = iPhone
I think it might come sooner....

The iPhone's screen doesn't make sense. Why would you need a dock bar for a screen size that small. Think Apple would've designed a different interface for the icons used in a theoretical iPhone.

With Apple riding high on the iPod's popularity, people will snap up iPhones like they're going out of style. I never line up for anything but I'll camp out for an iPhone. In fact, I'm pitching a tent right now.

I'm wary of these 'future' Apple products posted by people with 'inside information.'
If you look closely, this 'ad' doesn't even conform to Apple's design guidelines by using the font Garamond instead of Myriad and Helvetica Neue w/c was both adopted by the company in 2002 and used officially for marketing and packaging its products.
This frankenphone looks like a cross between an iPod and an SE T610.

Check out this quote from AppleinsiderL
Jobs stated that he is proud not only of the products Apple has shipped, but also the products Apple has decided not to ship. When asked to elaborate, Jobs Steve replied, "an Apple PDA."
During a Q&A session, one individual pleaded with Jobs (as he clenched his Treo), asking for Apple to produce a PDA/Phone hybrid. Jobs told the audience member it would be best to remain happy with his Treo.
Russ Beattie is full of sh*t. He has no idea what he's talking about.
• His logic is all wrong. Just because Apple makes a consumer product like the iPod, doesn't mean Apple can easily jump into mobile phones.
• The philosophy part is wrong too. If he doesn't even know what phone Jobs is using, then how can he say Jobs "hates and curses his phone everyday"? If only he read the above quote.
• Steve admires Sony quite a bit and any comparisions made between Apple and Sony seems to make him happy <- Where does he get this stuff?
EDIT: I find it pretty funny that most images of rumored Apple products (like the video iPod) has the OS X desktop and dock.

I don't think Steve would introduce something like this soon. Apple is currently working closely with Motorola for the iTunes deployment of the latter' mobile phone.
