Sony Memory Stick Pro duo unreadable
Hi guys,
Does the Sony memory stick duo have issues with OSX? Because I tried copying pics taken from a Cybershot, at first it was able to detect it (via a card reader) , but when I was about to copy them from mem stick to my desktop it indicated an error.
I tried re-inserting the mem stick, but it's now undetected by the system. I rebooted my mac, but still the same results. The power LED on my card reader is on, but there's no disk detected. I tried another mem stick from a PSP, and surprisingly the other mem stick is not being detected as well.
Good thing the mem stick from the camera is not corrupted.
What's happening?

Use a different card reader.

Or try using the cable that came with the camera.

i use an adaptor that attaches to the memory stick then insert it to the card reader and so far it reads it....same thing with the imac sd slot...but if i insert just the memstick it doesn't read at all...
the adaptor came with the contents of the sony mini-dv camera and cybershot camera that i bought last year...

tried different readers but once iphoto detects the mem stick, it suddenly ejects it. same thing happens when using the camera.
