PLDT has been known to profile their customers, maybe she has downloaded too much?

Maybe she can just request for a new user id and password while explaining the test that you did.

Can you also try your user id and password at your sister's place?

Its viable if you both have the same plan, but complaining to PLDT is the way to go, after all, you paid for it.

You're definitely not alone. Found this when I was wondering about my slow PLDT speeds.

so what seems to be the problem kaya? how to fix it too?

btw what happen daw is she forgot to pay her phone bill last month when she was out of the country, and her phone line got disconnected, but she already settle when she back in the country, then the dsl was disconnected for a while (about few hours yata daw) too after few days or a week after that she can't recall. then slow na after.

btw my dsl plan is plan 999 but my speedtest speed is only about 0.4-0.5mbps lang, is it normal? or should I do anything like request a speed upgrade or something? what should be the right speed for my plan?

If you are running on a old generation network, it is normal.

can you pls explain it? if its normal, I will save my time to complain or request for speed upgrade, instead will look for a better alternative to replace it,

am in Binondo, any suggestion for a better dsl connection?

The "old generation" network refers to Legacy systems. The newer ones are the IPDSLAM and NGN networks.

PLDT has been cleaning up a lot of accounts lately. Its possible that her account might have been reset back.

Calling 172 rarely helps. Most of the time, it falls on deaf ears. Emailing customer service at customercare@pldt.com is more effective since it leaves a "paper trail" and the email is being monitored by customer care analysts. This is what I normally use when I contact PLDT for DSL problems and usually within 24 hours they have a response and a plan of action as well.

Try sending a letter of complaint and protest also the the PLDT Manager of your local business office/exchange.

been having PDLT DSL connnection problems for quite some time now.
i always get disconnected whenever someone would use the landline or an incoming call would ring.
    speed is ok though.
its as if i only have a dial up connection.
they said that there is a problem with our telephone cable in the building of the condo.
i am definitely looking for alternative now.
tried calling skycable for their cable internet, but our area is not yet possible for connection.
