Cool No Photoshop on these photos taken with my D50

    Just want to share....

    D50 w 50mm f/1.8

    with Tamron 28-80mm f/3.5-5.6

It's been awhile since I posted non-PP'd photos. Long time contacts will remember I was previously allergic to Post Processing (Photoshop) of my photos. Until Ruel Tafalia showed me the Photoshop tricks (and gave me his PS Actions, too!)

For last Sunday's shoot, the model's manager requested instant JPG copies of the photos. I typically underexpose my shots by 1stop to 2stops, I found that I have more leeway with the blacks this way as opposed to even exposure. I had to adjust my preference for underexposed photos so my "client" can have usable JPG pictures.

These photos had off-camera flash (sb-600 speedlite @ 1/16 power shoot through umbrella) and indoors. I employed a fast shutter 1/500 so I can have a large aperture and blur the background.

Great work on the make up by Sarah Bacani. Accessories by my wife May. Location: Makati, Philippines

these are nice shots sir, many photos nowadays are really rigged by photoshop, but this one really shows the talent behind the lens, keep it up!

Sir i just browsed at your flicker account, are those photos without post processing too?

The picture here is of a brilliant, successful yet amazingly narrow, limited, and ungenerous man, who, even as he was dying, could not let go of his desire to outdo his enemies.

for the recent photos on my stream, only Jasmen So set is without PP, the rest got a heavy handed treatment. the earlier pics of Chiaki, Rachelle and Jean are not PP'd.

i like all your pics (from flickr) that were not-PP'd. (or at least they looked natural and not PP'd)

I try to go for a natural look even if I PP a photo. If it's obvious, it means something was wrong with my original photo or I'm trying to "cover up" something on the subjects. :-D

i just visited your flickr photos. nice and natural. i do like natural photos (no post processing) but at one point, to enhance more of its colors, it's a need, too.
