Re: HP's Macbook Rip-off look Saw this yesterday in the newspapers. Specs are good though. For roughly the price of a Macbook white, you're getting an Core i3 processor already.
Of course the OS is Windows 7.

Re: HP's Macbook Rip-off look This is not the Envy series. The Envy series has the slot loading optical drive. This one has the "ordinary one". hehe

Re: HP's Macbook Rip-off look These aluminum notebooks from HP has been existent from the Compaq series even way back in 2005. I had one. It's not exactly a perfect match but they were using shiny metallic finish instead of the matte aluminum look of the unibody MBPs...and they still had that same slide-out optical drive
