    Saw this yesterday in the newspapers. Specs are good though. For roughly the price of a Macbook white, you're getting an Core i3 processor already.

    Of course the OS is Windows 7.

    This is not the Envy series. The Envy series has the slot loading optical drive. This one has the "ordinary one". hehe

    These aluminum notebooks from HP has been existent from the Compaq series even way back in 2005. I had one. It's not exactly a perfect match but they were using shiny metallic finish instead of the matte aluminum look of the unibody MBPs...and they still had that same slide-out optical drive
