w/c is the best method on how to use the iphone via local telcos?
just to summarize:
1) sim cloning popularized by dubeditions
2) hardware unlock w/ soldering by a ~17 year old kid
3) hardware unlock w/o soldering 1st done by, i believe, babynino
4) software unlock by iphonesimfree
w/c is the best method, for now, in your opinion? taking into consideration effort, cost & risk?
i want an iphone na! but i have to know 1st how to use it via a smart or globe prepaid sim.

The best method is to WAIT! The official availability of the iPhone is mere months away. Waiting for it will free any potential user from the worry if their expensive phone will work after a software update.

Me too. I will wait for the official release. It has full warranty, security updates, apples support and all.
But I guess, for the sake of those who are itching and are willing to try iphone even before its official release, it might be good to give this poll a try.
Looking at the iphonesimfree thread, there are many people there who manifested their willingness to have a hacked iphone.
This poll will hopefully guide their "hacking" decisions.

apple will want to protect their only partner AT&T. with the methods for the hack so public, apple will catch up eventually.

wait for the official release. patience is a virtue.
im reminded of the experiment for emotional intelligence. one set of kids were given candy and were told that if they wait a little while, they can get more candy. the study showed that those who waited were more successful in life than those who ate the candy immediately.

in as much as i want to get myself an iphone (im already prepping my budget and getting ready to contact leocastillo to order), i believe the wiser choice is still to wait for the official asian release.

Yep! I say wait. There's no official support for the iPhone right now. It's better to wait, lest you end up with a P30T brick.
