Do you like the new low-profile keys?
Yes. They "provide crisp, responsive feel" as advertised.
No. I'll stick with old skool keyboards. My fingers need more tactile feedback.
I have no choice but to like them. It's where all Macs are headed.
Keyboards? I don't need no stinkin' keyboards! Give me a multi-touch screen!
Do you like the new low-profile keys?
the question is who already have them![]()

Newsflash! MacBooks have low-profile keyboards...
I voted No but I don't really know how the old school keyboards - if you meant the old school Mac keyboardsThe keyboard feel (as opposed to layout) of the HP Compaq M-series and Toshiba Satellite Pro I used before my Macbook seemed better for me.

I tried the new aluminum keyboards at the local Apple store and didn't really like the feel. The limited tactile feedback made me miss some keys when I tried typing in my normal pace. They sure look nice though.
for me, nothing beats the keyboard of the PowerBook/MacBook Pro. with automatically adjusting backlight pa![]()
i dont enjoy the backlight since its hidden under the black KB cover![]()
i was afraid the design was going to be difficult to use but it's perfect for me... when i use a regular KB again if feels so dated and awkward to use...
Well, to put my preferences in perspective. I think the Enterprise/Saratoga were the best keyboards Apple produced. They're named after aircraft carriers because of the large flat space above the keys. Lowendmac.com article on AEK.
My personal preference is for the Extended Keyboard I (some prefer the Extended Keyboard II).
The same keyswitch mechanisms are used in a modern day USB remake.
