How long have you been using you current macs? and if you have been using the older macs, how does it feels if there's new coming out and you cant afford to buy one yet?

Using my current Mac for 28 months. It's always a test of patience if something new comes out. Currently struggling since I'd like to get a MBP but just waiting for a 15" with a better optical drive.

1 year by end of the month.

I got mine exactly a week after Apple releases the latest iBooks with higher memory and built in BT. It was disappointing (imagine, i had to look for a white BT dongle to macth my immaculate iBook) but at the end of the day, "wala naman sa pana yun eh, nasa indian". In even so I can afford to get one, I would still get the Intel-free macs.

My 1st and current mac is a 12" ibook. I have been using it for 2 mos now.

I got mine two weeks after they released the first iBook G4. So if my calculations are correct i've had mine for 2 years 6 months!

I'm happy with it actually. I just need to change the HD.
I'm also thinking of getting a desktop mac for my room.

My G5 Quad is 6 months old while my MBP is 2 months old. They both replaced a Dual G4 and 17" PowerBook which were 3 and 2.5 years old respectively.

my iMac G4 is 4 1/2 year old. I don't really feel much, since i'm using the current and new models at work. Don't really see the difference except for the speed of course.
