The perfect red lipstick

Any of you into reds? I'm yellow-toned and am looking for the perfect shade of red with a hint of brown. Any suggestions?

why don't you try revlon's red velvet or the face shop's #10 fashionable red? I also found an interesting shade of red under the Clinique brand but i forgot the name & number.

try the shades in body shop and shiseido. normally asian brands like shhiseido gear towards yellow tones / asian skin.

lise watier in marionnaud, sm moa has a good selection of red lipgloss in shades of dark berry and wine. for lipstick, you can try origins' flower fusion in poppy.

Hi Demi. You can try Bobbi Brown Lipstick in SLOPES for that natural red burn you get from frostbite (you can pair this with their slopes blush as well). Vincent Longo's red stain in Americana is also great as is Laura Mercier's French Lips

I love reds too. When I feel fugly or stressed out or when I lack sleep but still have so much work to do, there's nothing like red lipstick to make me feel brave and happy. HTH

Any of you tried Nars' Dolce Vita or Lipstick No. 1 by Serge Lutens? I'm curious.

Red lipstick never looks good on me. I envy women who can wear red lipstick and look so classy. I've been stuck with nude lipstick for years. :slanted:

Aaaaw, I'm sure there's a perfect red out there for you! It doesn't have to be bloody red, brothel red or at-your-face red (red kung red!). Maybe you can try sheer lipsticks first or lipstain

Thanks, demi. I hope so, too. Because I happen to love classic-looking makeup. It's just that the red lipstick for me is still "out there" and not yet in my makeup bag.
