MAC Classes at My Masterpiece Arts Center - Classes For All Ages!
PRESS RELEASE
ISSUE DATE: 8 March 2007
Fun After-Work Time, Guaranteed!
Posted By Nicole Bulatao, Associate Publisher, Marie Claire On 6th March 2007
Anyone who has ever had a hankering to learn how to paint, or play the guitar (or the piano or the drums or the violin), or work Photoshop-enabled wonders on their Mac can just pop by My Masterpiece on Libis and ask to meet Rayyn, Anna, or Kara. These three warm, wonderful people are there to help you indulge just about any artistic interests you may have.
My Masterpiece is a fun, friendly arts school with classes in visual arts (drawing, sculpting, painting), music, drama, imaginative writing and MAC MULTIMEDIA. The really great part about all this is that the classes they offer, while open to children as young as two years old, aren’t limited to kids. My Masterpiece offers lessons for adults too! For parents, one great idea would be to enroll your kids in a class with other kids their age, while you take that drawing class you’ve always wanted to attend.
The school offers once-a-week classes, on a weekday or weekend, that can run anywhere from 4 to 36 weeks. Rates are reasonable, and the team is flexible—for example, if you’re a single girl who just wants some artistic “me” time on a weekday evening after work, there’s a good chance that Rayyn, Anna, or Kara can work out a one-on-one schedule just for you. But if you, a friend, a nephew or niece, or your kid would like to take part in My Masterpiece’s summer program, it might be a good idea to call 395-5028 or 0915-4327439 immediately. Slots are limited, and classes start on April 9th. For My Masterpiece Summer Schedule & Fees, visit www.mymasterpiece.info
Have fun!

MY MASTERPIECE – MAC MULTIMEDIA PROGRAM
Get creative though the use of the latest Mac-based digital media technology.
Our Mac Multimedia Program provides our students with a “digital toolbox” that allows them to communicate their ideas and experiment with innovative computer applications and multimedia programs. Our iMac Computer Lab is equipped with ten
iMac Intel Core Duo units with WI-FI and Wacom tablets.
Why Apple in education? The Mac’s unmatched ease of use and its built-in collection of engaging software makes Apple the clear choice for ensuring that students are equipped with powerful media tools that support project-based learning. Apple technology is so intuitive that students don’t have to learn it, they just “get it”; and it creates the environment students need to express themselves and easily collaborate with others. Apple solutions turn students into creators of content – they become authors, creating movies, presentations, artwork, print media, and other digital projects they can publish and share.
We teach: MAC OS X basics including iLife & iWork; digital art & vector art; graphic design elements & principles; page layout techniques; digital presentations; digital imaging & photo manipulation; musical composition. COMING SOON - digital video & video editing; digital photography, animation.
Our software includes iLife (iPhoto, iTunes, iMovie, iDVD, iWeb, Garageband), iWork (Keynote & Pages), ArtRage, Cosmic Blobs, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and Final Cut Express.
