Flat Irons/Hair Straighteners
I'm concerned about my hair straightener/flat iron (U.S.-bought CHI brand) frying even with the use of a transformer/voltage converter. If there was an awesome travel-ready flat iron, believe me - I'd be buying it! Unfortunately, I haven't found a good one.
I'm thinking about buying a flat iron while in Manila. What brands are available and where can I purchase them?
I'm looking for a high end straightener (i.e. Chi, Sedu, Hai, T3, or GHD).

Re: Flat Irons/Hair Straighteners
I have a Vidal Sassoon brand which I bought in Hongkong... It has a small container where you can put water and while ironing your hair the steam comes out (that is if you want to use it with steam) if you prefer without steam, just don't put water or detach the container... I think they have this brand at SM if i'm not mistaken... just not sure if they have exactly the same kind I have...

Conair is good enough. Mine was bought in US but they also sell here locally even at SM.
