Default What's your current video project?

My current project is interviewing my relatives who were alive in the Philippines during 1941-1944. I ask how they survived, how times were like, and such. I then download the mini DV tape to iMovie on my Mac. I plan to author the project using iDVD. Afterwards, I'll hand out the DVD's to all my relatives. The interviewees get to check the first cut of course.

This is the first time I'm making a documentary home movie.

If anyone is interested in WW II Filipino history, I watched this movie just recently-

that's a really interesting topic...i wish you the best of luck!!! and don't worry about the "first time" thing, because most probably you'll have a "fresher take" on everything and the film would be more interesting to watch. i've done just one documentary so far, and i hope to do another one soon, just for kicks.

after you've done your debut with your relatives i hope we philmuggers get to watch your documentary as well.

current projects - weddings, weddings and more weddings. *gaaaaaaah!*

using Final Cut Pro HD to edit.

Am still in the process of finishing my reel. Just transferred some material from the G5 to my iPod last night. Thanks for the link. Have a great time with that documentary.

I'm encoding my project now in iDVD 4, the files are on the ATA-4 drive of my Mac. It's taking more time than the ATA-6 drive. Looks like the I'm going to have to leave the machine on while I go out to the beach today.
