Default Video File Won't Fit In One Dvd

I recently finished a video and it won't fit in one dvd. I use toast or dvd-pro when burning dvd's. is there a way i can split the video into 2 using either toast or dvd-pro? usually i re-compress them again and do the cutting from the timeline so that i end up having a part 1 and 2. is there another way of doing it without the hassle of recompressing it again?

perhaps a dual layer disc can help. 8.5GB compared to 4.7GB.

Use popcorn, It has very little or no video degradation. All you have to do is Make a disc image of the file you're burning using Studio pro. then select the disc image using popcorn, or you can build your dvd using studio pro, then select the VIDEO_TS folder using popcorn.

There are two things in life that you should do to be successful. 1) Do not share everything you know.

Anyone can grab a Tiger by it's balls, but it takes a real MAN to squeeze.
